Scholarship Summary:
Berkeley College is pleased to offer the Achievement Awards to incoming freshman students (US citizens and residents only) based on high school GPA.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The criteria for eligibility are as follows;
i. Full-time or part-time enrollment in an undergraduate degree program
ii. High school or previous college cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher (Berkeley will accept both high school and prior college GPAs, but will apply the higher of the two GPAs for purposes of determining award amounts. Students who have a GED credential in lieu of a high school diploma, and no prior college enrollment, are treated as if they have a 2.5 GPA and are eligible for the Achievement Award)
Value of Scholarship:
The Berkeley College Achievement Award is valued as follows;
i. 3.0+ GPA: $8,000/yr
ii. 2.76 - 2.99 GPA: $7,500/yr
iii. 2.50 - 2.75 GPA: $7,000/yr
Part-time students can receive up to 15% off of tuition per standard academic year based on GPA and credit load.
Renewability Requirements
a. Must maintain cumulative Berkeley College GPA of 2.5 or higher at the time award renewal takes place, which generally occurs every two semesters.
