The Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship at Seton Hall is awarded in the fall semester to incoming domestic and international freshmen who have outstanding academic records; have overcome economic or educational hardship and demonstrated a commitment to diversity and serving or working with socio-economically or educationally underserved communities.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be first-time freshmen students;
ii. Have outstanding academic records;
iii. Have overcome economic or educational hardship
iv. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity and serving or working with socio-economically or educationally underserved communities.
Value of Scholarship:
The Seton Hall Martin Luther King Jr Scholarship ranges from $6,500 - $8,500 and is renewable contingent upon maintaining a 3.0 GPA and actively participating in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Association.
