Scholarship Summary:
High-achieving first-year/freshmen applicants (domestic and international) are considered for First-Year Scholarships at Brockport. Award amounts are based on academic merit and include a holistic review of your application that takes into account the rigor of your high school curriculum and your involvement in activities outside of the classroom.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be first-time college students entering directly from high school,
ii. Obtain a minimum high school average of 90 (One "A" and two "Cs" or higher or its equivalent for international students)
Value of Scholarship:
The Brockport First-Year Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Gold Scholarship: $4,500/year (93+ High School GPA)
ii. Green Scholarship: $2,500/year (88+ High School GPA)
iii. Empire Scholarship for Out-of-State Students: $5,000/year (88+ High School GPA, stackable with Green and Gold scholarships)
iv. Residential Scholars Award: Free Housing for First Year only (96+ High School GPA; domestic students only; stackable with Gold and Eagle scholarships)
v. Eagle Scholarship: $1,000 (One-time award for first year only; 90+ High School GPA; domestic students only; stackable with Gold and Eagle scholarships)
vi. Global Eagle Scholarship: $2,000 (One-time award for first year only; 90+ High School GPA; international students only; stackable with Gold scholarship)
