Scholarship Summary:
Calvin University is delighted to award academic scholarships to incoming undergraduate students (domestic and international) based on the student's academic performance in high school.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Have a minimum weighted GPA of 3.10
ii. Have a minimum ACT score of 20 or a minimum SAT score of 1020
The average GPAs and test scores shown below demonstrate a range of awards, but since some students do not fit neatly into these averages, specific scholarship levels may vary.
Value of Scholarship:
The Calvin Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Trustee’s: $20,000 {GPA: 4.20 and ACT: 30 or SAT: 1380}
ii. President’s: $18,000 {GPA: 3.90 and ACT: 26 or SAT: 1250}
iii. Provost’s: $16,000 {GPA: 3.80 and ACT: 24 or SAT: 1180}
iv. Dean’s: $14,000 {GPA: 3.60 and ACT: 22 or SAT: 1120}
v. Faculty’s: $5,000-$12,000 {GPA: 3.10 and ACT: 20 or SAT: 1020}
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; all admitted eligible students will be considered for academic scholarships.
