Scholarship Summary: 
The Scott Scholars in the Heider College of Business Program is the premier scholarship offered through the generosity of the Suzanne & Walter Scott Foundation. The Program includes a merit scholarship and elite opportunities for future business leaders (US citizens and residents only) seeking to transform the future of business in Omaha and the community.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
Interested students are encouraged to apply for this opportunity if they meet the following criteria:
i. Be a first-time University student or immediate high school graduate
ii. Minimum 3.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale in a college prep curriculum at time of admission
iii. Minimum 28 ACT or 1300 SAT (Math + Critical Reading)
iv. Be admitted for a full-time undergraduate course at the Heider College of Business and intend to work in the business field.

Value of Scholarship: 
Selected candidates will receive:
i. Full tuition, mandatory University fees, on-campus room, and board fees covered through scholarship dollars for four years (eight consecutive semesters), sponsored by the Suzanne & Walter Scott Foundation and Creighton University
ii. Guaranteed housing on-campus for four years (eight consecutive semesters)
iii. Funded summer on-campus housing for Scott Scholars who secure summer internships in Omaha.
iv. Access to an executive speaker series and company visits.
v. Four-year, co-curricular programming including career exploration, professional development and networking.
vi. Individualized academic and career advising and priority registration.
vii. Access to funding for approved student enrichment opportunities.
viii. Leadership development through the Anna Tyler Waite Leadership Program and the Scott Mentorship Program.

Renewal requires maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.30.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To apply; 
i. Submit your Application for Undergraduate Admission and all required credentials by December 1, 2023; and the Additional Scholarship Application with all additional required materials to the Admissions Office by January 10, 2024 at 11:59 PM (in your local timezone). The Additional Scholarship Applications will be available in the student portal for eligible students. 

This scholarship will replace any previously awarded merit scholarship from Creighton.
