Scholarship Summary:
Academic scholarships are awarded to full-time, degree seeking students (domestic and international) attending the HLGU main campus. Academic scholarships are designed to recognize and reward students for previous academic achievement. Academic scholarships are renewable for five years (ten semesters).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be first-time freshman students entering the traditional on campus program at HLGU for the first time.
ii. Have a minimum high school GPA of 2.0
iii. Obtain a minimum ACT score of 16 or a SAT score of 880
Value of Scholarship:
The HLGU Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Trojan Scholarship: $3,000 annually
ii. Arch Scholarship: $4,000 annually
iii. University Scholarship: $6,000 annually
iv. Achievement Scholarship: $8,000 annually
v. Honors Scholarship: $9,500 annually
vi. President’s Scholarship: $11,000 annually
vii. Trustee’s Scholarship: $13,000 annually
viii. International Student Scholarship: $8,860 annually
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; simply apply and be accepted to the university to automatically be eligible for HGLU’s academic scholarships.
