Scholarship Summary:
All applicants (domestic and international) for admission into Macalester are considered for merit-based scholarships. Students selected for merit-based scholarships are notified by the Admissions Office at the same time they are notified of admission.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for consideration but typically half of Macalester students will receive a merit-based scholarship.
Value of Scholarship:
The Macalester’s merit scholarships range from $1,000 - $23,000 annually and are awarded for eight semesters. There is no minimum GPA required for renewal.
