'25 University of Missouri–Kansas City Resident Freshman Awards (US Based)

Scholarship Summary: 
University of Missouri–Kansas City is delighted to award automatic scholarships to top-performing Missouri and Kansas residents based on ACT or SAT score and High School Core GPA on Admission Application. Students in medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, or law are not eligible for these awards.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. Be US citizens or permanent residents
ii. Be Incoming freshmen students graduating from a high school and resident in Missouri or Kansas
iii. Obtain a minimum ACT score of 22 AND 3.0 HS Core GPA 
 
Value of Scholarship: 
The UMKC Missouri Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Provost’s Award: $2,000 annually (Required: ACT score 22 AND HS Core GPA 3.0) {open to Missouri and Kansas residents}
ii. Chancellor’s Award: $3,500 annually (Required: ACT score 25 AND HS Core GPA 3.5) {open to Missouri and Kansas residents}
iii. Academic Excellence Award: $5,000 annually (Required: ACT score 28 AND HS Core GPA 3.75) {open to Kansas residents only}
iv. Curator's Scholar Award: $5,000 annually (Required: ACT score 28 AND HS Core GPA 3.75) {open to Missouri residents only}
v. District High School Award: $1,500 annually (Required: High School graduate from Kansas City Public School District or North Kansas City Schools)
vi. Metro Kansas City High School Award: $1,000 annually (Required: Graduate of an eligible Kansas High school)

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate scholarship application; simply apply for admission into UMKC to be considered.
