Scholarship Summary:
At Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, there are many scholarships available to first-year domestic undergraduate students to reward academic success, achievements, talents, community contributions, and demonstrated leadership.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The criteria used in determining an applicant’s eligibility include a student's academic performance; school, church, and community activities; and recommendations.
Value of Scholarship:
The Saint Mary’s First-Year Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholarship: $30,000
ii. Trustee Scholarship: $29,000
iii. De La Salle Christian Brother Scholarship: $28,000
iv. Dean’s Scholarship: $27,000
v. Achievement Award: $25,500
vi. Out-of-State: $2,000 (Domestic Students not resident in Minnesota)
v. Catholic Scholarship: $1,000/year (Students graduating from a Catholic High School)
Commuter (C) students will have $4,000 deducted from their awarded scholarship.
Each scholarship is renewable for three additional years based on successful maintenance of the required GPA.
