Scholarship Summary:
The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship is a globally recognized scholarship program for international students and aims to develop future world leaders in St. Catherine University (a women's university) who will advance intercultural understanding.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be female, bachelor's-degree-seeking international applicants,
ii. Be enrolled full time in the College for Women,
iii. Be planning to live on campus.
iv. Attend (or have graduated from) a secondary school outside of the United States.
v. Show demonstrated interest and initiative in leadership and intercultural learning
Value of Scholarship:
St. Catherine University will award two annual, renewable #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarships covering 50% of tuition for four years or until you graduate, whichever comes first.
Scholarship Application Guide:
To apply;
i. Complete your admission application to St. Kate's by April 1
ii. Complete a 500–1000 word essay or a two–five minute video answering the following prompt: “Tell us about your leadership skills in your school or community, and how you plan to continue applying your leadership skills at St. Catherine University". Email the #YouAreWelcomeHere essay or video to international@stkate.edu by April 1.
iii. If awarded the scholarship, submit your confirming deposit by May 1
