Scholarship Summary:
Any domestic freshman student eligible for the University’s TruMerit scholarship is automatically awarded upon being admitted to Truman State University with only an application, transcript and verified test score required.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration,
i. Be a US citizen or resident
ii. Have a minimum GPA and ACT/SAT combination (find award grid in the scholarship link below)
Value of Scholarship:
The Truman Domestic Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
For Missouri residents
i. Missouri TruMerit Scholarship: Award amounts range from $3,000 - $5,000 annually
For Missouri non-residents
i. Out-of-State TruMerit Scholarship: Award amounts range from $5,000 - $9,000 annually
ii. Non-Resident Tuition Grant: Tuition grant covering the out-of-state portion of tuition valued at $8,400 for Fall 2024 academic year (awarded to admitted out-of-state students whose non-custodial parent is a Missouri resident)
