Scholarship Summary: 
The School of Chemical Engineering at University of Birmingham provides a number of scholarships to incoming candidates (UK and internationalwith excellent academic records applying for undergraduate programmes. 

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for this award you must:
Be accepted to one of the eligible courses in the School of Chemical Engineering (listed in scholarship link below) for year 1 entry in 2024 after placing it as firm choice in UCAS.

Applicants will be ranked on:
Maths and Chemistry A Level (or equivalent other qualifications) grades.
Overall A Level or other equivalent qualification grades.
Enthusiasm and understanding of Chemical Engineering demonstrated on UCAS application

Value of Scholarship: 
The School of Chemical Engineering Undergraduate scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Chemical Engineering entrance scholarships for UK students is a £1,500 bank transfer during year 1 semester 1 {20 available}

ii. Chemical Engineering Excellence Scholarship for international students consists of a £3,000 tuition fee reduction during year 1 {10 available}. Holders of this award become eligible for the Chemical Engineering First Class Scholarship after year 1, which is applied in the form of a £1,500 tuition fee discount (Must achieve 70% year average at the first attempt in your previous year of study).

Scholarship Application Guide: 
No application is required, all those who meet the conditions above will be contacted during semester 1 2024.

Students will be considered by the Chemical Engineering Admissions Team and those who demonstrate excellent exam results and an enthusiasm and understanding of the subject are most likely to be successful.
