Scholarship Summary:
Lancaster University is delighted to announce the generous Lancaster Global scholarship scheme for high-achieving students from all international countries, who are liable for International tuition fees. The scholarship is awarded as a tuition fee waiver for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught programmes for 2024 entry and will be automatically awarded if students meet the eligibility criteria and terms and conditions outlined below.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To qualify for a Lancaster Global Scholarship;
i. For Undergraduate studies, awardees must achieve A*AA minimum at A level, or equivalent
ii. For Postgraduate Taught courses, awardees are typically required to have a first class (please refer to the educational equivalences table in the scholarship link below)
iii. The Lancaster Global Scholarship is available for eligible applicants to all full-time and part-time taught undergraduate and Postgraduate Taught degree-level programmes, offered fully on-campus at Lancaster University for October 2024 entry.
iv. Applicants must be in receipt of either a conditional or an unconditional offer for a place at Lancaster University for October 2024 entry, which you have accepted (non‐UCAS applications) or accepted firmly (UCAS applications).
v. The scholarship is only available to undergraduates students joining Part 1 of degree programmes.
vi. Fully funded applicants are not eligible for this scholarship.
vii. Applicants applying from 1+3 programmes offered by Lancaster University articulation partners, are not eligible for this scholarship.
viii. Partially funded applicants for less than 50% of their fees would be eligible for this scholarship.
ix. Awardees must be classed as Overseas or International fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. If you are awarded the scholarship and are subsequently reassessed as a ‘Home’ fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
Value of Scholarship:
The Lancaster Global Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. A scholarship of £2,000 for each year of study is available for students joining undergraduate programmes.
ii. A scholarship of £5,000 for the first year of entry is available for students joining Postgraduate Taught programmes.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate application process for the Lancaster Scholarship. Scholarships are automatically considered as part of the programme application and will be conditional if the results are unknown.
