Scholarship Summary:
Delware Valley University offers merit scholarships to incoming freshmen students (domestic and international) based on previous academic performance and the results of the SAT or ACT examination. These awards are granted upon acceptance.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Applicants must enroll at Delaware Valley University as full-time undergraduate students to be eligible for DVU merit scholarships. Academic merit is also a big consideration when awarding scholarships.
Value of Scholarship:
The DVU Merit scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholarship: $27,000/year
ii. Faculty Scholarship: $24,000/year
iii. Trustee Scholarship: $22,000/year
iv. Challenge Grant: $18,000/year
v. Heritage Award: $14,000/year
The above scholarships stay the same every year, as long as you maintain a specific GPA at DelVal (varies based on scholarship). Merit scholarships are applicable to tuition and fees only.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; students who apply for admission as first-year applicants will be considered for these awards.
