Scholarship Summary:
In the spirit of the founding, commitment to excellence, mission of service, and in alignment with University Goals, Duquesne will award five exceptional leaders (US citizens and residents only) with the Spirit of Excellence Scholarship for four years.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
The following criteria are required for consideration:
• US citizens who have applied for and been accepted to Duquesne University as a freshman for the fall 2025 academic year
• Have a minimum "B" average
• Show demonstrated achievement and involvement in any activity or endeavor of significance. Applicants will be evaluated on level of achievement, depth of involvement and quality of contribution.
• Submission of scholarship application (including essay and activities resume)
• Special consideration will be given to applicants who've overcome hardship, disability, a difficult personal situation, or faced some other disadvantage.
Value of Scholarship:
The Duquesne Spirit of Excellence Scholarship is a full tuition scholarship, renewable for four years.
