Scholarship Summary:
Mount Aloysius College offers academic scholarships to new, full-time undergraduate students (domestic and international) and these awards are determined by the Admissions Office based on GPA.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 2.0
Value of Scholarship:
The Mount Aloysius Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
For Domestic Students
• Mother McAuley Award
- Student must have a high school GPA of 3.75 or higher to receive up to $40,000 over a 4 year period ($10,000/year).
• Saint Aloysius Award
- Student must have a high school GPA of 3.33 to 3.74 to receive up to $24,000 over a 4 year period ($6,000/year).
• 1853 Foundress Award
- Student must have a high school GPA of 2.75 to 3.32 to receive up to $16,000 over a 4 year period ($4,000/year).
• Sister Blake Award
- Student has a high school GPA of 2.0 to 2.74 to receive up to $12,000 over a 4 year period ($3,000/year).
• Residence Hall Grant
- Students that live in the residence halls will also receive an additional $3,000 a year
- Domestic students not resident in Georgia will receive an additional scholarship valued at $2,000/year
For International Students
• International Grant
- Valued as $15,000 and a $3,000 Residential Grant in addition
