Scholarship Summary:
Oregon State University has a host of merit scholarships available for international students enrolling for an undergraduate degree in the fall semester.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum HS GPA of 3.0
ii. Be an international fee-paying student
Value of Scholarship:
The OSU International Freshman Merit scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Regional Awards (Can be combined with Regional Scholarships):
- Africa: $12,000/year
- Europe and Central Asia: $12,000/year
- Latin America: $10,000/year
- South Asia: $10,000/year
- Southeast Asia and IndoChina: $8,000/year
- Hong Kong and Macau: $8,000/year
- Taiwan: $2,000/year
ii. Provost's Scholarship for Excellence: $6,000/year {minimum GPA 3.5+ (or IB 30+ or A-level two Bs and one C)}
iii. Regional Scholarships (Can be combined with Regional Awards): $1,000-$8,000 for the first year only {Personal Statement or Scholarship Interview may be required for some regions; Limited availability: first come, first served}
iv. Continued Success Scholarship: $3,000-$5,000 annually (following successful completion of undergraduate first-year, International Year One or Undergraduate Transfer Program; achieve a minimum GPA of 3.5; up to 3 years renewable)

No separate application is required to be considered for these scholarships; students will be evaluated based on a holistic review of their application for admission, with specific attention to their accomplishments, contributions, experiences, and talents.
