Scholarship Summary:
International citizens with the required English proficiency within the past two calendar years with TOEFL, IELTS score, Level 112 ELS Completion, Duquesne University ESL Advanced Level A with TOEFL score or Duquesne University ESL Advanced Level A will be awarded merit scholarships at Point Park University.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must;
i. Be international fee-paying undergraduate freshmen
ii. Obtain one of the following scores;
• GPA 3.0 and minimum TOEFL/IELTS score of 525/6.5 if applicable
• ELS Level 112 completion with a cumulative test score of 1.5 or higher
• Duquesne University ESL Advanced Level A completion with TOEFL of 500 or Advanced Level B completion
Value of Scholarship:
The Point Park International English Proficiency Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. International Freshman Ambassador: $17,000 annually (3.0 GPA and minimum TOEFL/IELTS score of 550/7.0 OR ELS Level 112 completion with a cumulative test score of 2.0 or higher OR Duquesne University ESL Advanced Level A completion with TOEFL of 500 or Advanced Level B completion)
ii. International Freshman Fellow: $15,000 annually (3.0 GPA and minimum TOEFL/IELTS score of 525/6.5 OR ELS Level 112 completion with a cumulative test score of 1.5 or higher OR Duquesne University ESL Advanced Level A completion with TOEFL of 500 or Advanced Level B completion)
Scholarship Application Guide:
No additional application is needed for these scholarships; when you are accepted to Point Park, you automatically are considered for these awards.
