Scholarship Summary:
In 2025, University of Birmingham celebrates 125 years of University status by Royal Charter, and is proud to mark this milestone by investing in the future of global education. One of the ways they are doing this is through the prestigious 125th Anniversary Scholarships, offering £5,000 to international students who choose to pursue their Masters degree at the University of Birmingham in September 2025.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
In order to be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements. Candidates must:
• Have received, and accepted, an offer of admission for an eligible Masters degree at the University of Birmingham UK Campus to study in the 2025/26 academic year.
• Be classed as ‘domiciled’ in one of the following eligible countries;
- Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, India, Iran, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, Zambia, Zimbabwe
• Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes.
• Start their studies at the University in September/October 2025 on a course delivered on the University of Birmingham UK campus.
- Excluded programmes include the MBA, MSc Management, MSc Marketing, and MSc International Business.
• Have paid the standard admissions deposit.
Value of Scholarship:
The University of Birmingham 125th Anniversary Scholarship provides a tuition fee discount of £5,000 for eligible students.
Scholarship Application Guide:
For the £5,000 125th Anniversary Scholarship, no separate scholarship application is required. If you meet the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will automatically be deducted from your tuition fees. Simply pay your admission deposit by the deadline stated in your offer letter and accept your offer to study.
