Scholarship Summary:
The Maths and Physics Undergraduate Scholarships are accommodation fee waivers in the first year of study only. It is open to UK offer-holders for bachelor degree courses or integrated masters programmes in the School of Mathematics or School of Physics at the University of Surrey. Students living outside of university accommodation will be offered this as a cash award.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must;
i. Be a UK student, with home fee status
ii. Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors/integrated master’s degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in the following subjects;
ii. Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors/integrated master’s degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in the following subjects;
OR
iii. Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors/integrated master’s degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in the following subjects;
Value of Scholarship:
The Surrey Maths and Physics Undergraduate Scholarships are worth £2,000. Awardees will receive the scholarship as an accommodation fee waiver or cash award in the first year of studies only.

To apply;
i. You must have an offer from the University to complete the scholarship application form.
- Applications without a valid student ID/UCAS ID and offer will not be assessed. You must have made your course application through UCAS by 29 January 2025
ii. Eligible applicants must complete the scholarship application form by the deadline.
