Applications for this scholarship will be reviewed on an ongoing basis (but applicants are advised to apply by December 1 for best merit-based scholarship consideration) 

Scholarship Summary: 
Anderson University, SC is committed to assisting students (domestic and international) with scholarship opportunities and offers a variety of scholarships based on academic merit. Please note that scholarship resources are limited, and the University reserves the right to place a cap on the number of scholarships offered or awarded at any time, or reduce or increase scholarships at its discretion.  

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for Anderson Merit scholarships, you must;
i. Be an incoming first-time freshman 
ii. Demonstrate excellence in high school academic records

Value of Scholarship: 
The Anderson University Freshman Merit Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. President’s Scholarship: $15,000 annually 
ii. Founder’s Scholarship: $13,000 annually 
iii. Provost’s Scholarship: $12,000 annually 
iv. Dean’s Scholarship: $10,000 annually 
v. AU Grant: $8,000 annually 
vi. International Grant: $8,500 annually

Scholarships for First-Time Freshmen are renewable for up to eight (8) consecutive semesters of enrollment. Full-time (12 credit hours or more each semester) enrollment at AU required. Students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress to renew their awards from year to year. International students can receive any of the academic scholarships if they submit SAT/ACT scores.

Students are required to submit an application for admission to Anderson University. Along with their application, students will be required to submit their high school transcript, standardized test scores, resume, and two letters of recommendation.
