Scholarship Summary: 
Bennington scholarships are awarded generously to accomplished domestic and international freshman applicants based on each student's academic standing, extra-curricular activities, engagement in their education, and the overall strength of their application.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
There are no set criteria for scholarship consideration but approximately 80% of admitted freshmen will receive a merit scholarship.

Value of Scholarship: 
The Bennington Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;

i. Presidential Merit Scholarship - Awarded to the most exemplary students at the time of admission. Scholarships can range from $20,000 to $45,000 per academic year.
 
ii. Peter Drucker Merit Scholarship - Awarded to high-achieving students at the time of admission. Scholarships can range from $12,250 to $42,000 per academic year.
 
iii. John Dewey Merit Scholarship - Awarded at the time of admission. Scholarships can range from $12,500 to $40,000 per academic year.
 
iv. William Kilpatrick Merit Scholarship - Awarded at the time of admission. Scholarships can range from $7,500 to $37,500 per academic year.
 
v. Thomas Brockway Faculty Scholarship - Awarded at the time of admission. Scholarships can range from $5,000 to $35,000 per academic year.
 
All above scholarships will automatically renew each academic year of enrollment and the amount will not change regardless of changes to financial need.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
These scholarships are awarded to undergraduate applicants at the time of admission and do not require an additional application.
