Scholarship Summary: 
Gonzaga recognizes student achievement through its scholarship program and 98% of incoming students (domestic and international) receive merit scholarships. Gonzaga is 'test-optional', you do not need to submit and SAT or ACT to be considered for merit scholarships.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
Criteria for Gonzaga Freshman Merit Scholarship include; 
i. difficulty of curriculum, 
ii. grade point average, 
iii. extracurricular activities, 
iv. recommendations, 
v. quality of writing in the application, 
vi. optional SAT or ACT test scores, and 
vii. optional interview.

Value of Scholarship: 
First-Year merit scholarships range from $19,000 - $27,000/year and are guaranteed for four years (applies to entering freshman and first-year transfers entering with less than 30 semester credits).

Renewal
Students offered a merit scholarship must be admitted to the University, enrolled in 12+ credits each term, and maintain good academic standing to guarantee continuous scholarship.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
All students who complete the Application for Admission are automatically considered for one of several need-blind scholarships; no separate application forms are required.
Students are notified of their merit scholarship through an acceptance packet sent in the mail.
