Scholarship Summary:
Providence College’s scholarships are awarded to approximately 30% of admitted students (domestic and international) and are done so solely based off academic performance. The scholarship review is solely focused on a student’s academic credentials and those typically receiving a merit-based scholarship have exhausted the curriculum available at their school and maintained close to an A average (3.8 out of 4.0 unweighted and recalculated GPA).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set scholarship criteria but note that the review for admission is holistic and each student’s academic record will be considered as well as their extracurricular accomplishments and personal qualities.
Value of Scholarship:
The Providence College Freshmen merit-based tuition scholarships range from approximately $23,000 to $38,000 per year with several levels offered in between. All scholarships are renewable for four years provided students meet the GPA and academic progress requirements.
