Scholarship Summary:
International students will be considered for admission and institutional need-based financial assistance at Providence College based upon a review of the academic qualifications, financial need, and availability of student aid resources. In some cases, especially for students with high financial need, Providence might be unable to make an offer of admission if the funding is insufficient.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for Providence Need-Based Aid for International students, applicants must;
i. Be international fee-paying students
ii. Demonstrate financial need
iii. Be in the top 5% of the international applicant pool
Value of Scholarship:
The Providence College International Need-Based Aid can cover up to the cost of full tuition, though these cases are extremely rare. Other expenses, including room, board, travel, books, and other costs and fees, are the responsibility of the student.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Students seeking consideration for need-based financial assistance are required to submit at the time of application;
• Students requesting need-based financial assistance are required to submit the CSS Profile and the International Student Certification of Finances at the time they apply for admission.
• Current bank statements (dated within three months of submission)
• Forms can be filled out and e-mailed to international@providence.edu at the time of application. Please be aware that Providence may ask for further financial documentation per U.S. government regulations at a later date should you be admitted and choose to enroll.
