Scholarship Summary:
The Providence College Roddy Scholarship, is a full-ride scholarship for applicants who want a career in the medical profession with plans of attending medical, dental, or optometry graduate school. Consideration is based on outstanding academic achievement in high school. The Roddy Scholarship is only awarded to first-year students who reside in the United States and only one award is available.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for a Roddy Scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be first-year students residing in the United States
ii. Aspire to a career in the medical profession with plans of attending medical, dental, or optometry graduate school
iii. Demonstrate outstanding academic achievement in high school (top 5% of the applicant pool)
Value of Scholarship:
The Providence College Roddy Scholarship covers up to tuition, fees, housing and food costs.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate application to be considered for this scholarship; the admission application will be used to determine the eligible scholarship candidate.
