Scholarship Summary:
St. Martin's University offers first-year scholarships to incoming domestic freshmen, based on a holistic review of applications and unweighted cumulative GPA.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for a freshman scholarship, you must;
i. Be a new, incoming freshman student at St. Martins
ii. Be admitted for full-time undergraduate study
Value of Scholarship:
The St. Martin's University Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Chancellor's: $26,000/year (3.9 – 4.0 GPA)
ii. President's: $24,000/year (3.70 – 3.89 GPA)
iii. Dean's: $23,000/year (3.45 – 3.69 GPA)
iv. Faculty: $21,000/year (3.10 – 3.44 GPA)
v. University: $19,000/year (2.50 – 3.09 GPA)
vi. Angus McDonald: $10,000/year (<= 2.49)
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; applicants will be considered for merit scholarships based on the information in their admission application.
NOTE:
* Although St. Martins is test- optional, SAT or ACT scores are still accepted and considered as part of your application review. Talk with your admissions counselor about how your test scores can affect your merit award.
* Be sure to include any high school activities, awards, clubs and rigor of your high school curriculum (honors, AP/IB, college in the high school, etc.) on your Saint Martin’s application as merit awards are based on a holistic review of your application.
