Scholarship Summary:
UTSA is committed to the success of its students and in recognition of their academic achievements, is offering the merit-based Distinguished Presidential Scholarship to freshmen students (domestic and international) who display exceptional scholastic achievement in high school.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be in the top 25% of the applicant pool
ii. Have a minimum 1150 SAT (24 ACT)
Value of Scholarship:
The UTSA Distinguished Presidential Scholarship is valued as follows;
i. $500 annually {Top 25% AND at least 1150 SAT (24 ACT)}
ii. $2,500 annually {Top 20% AND at least 1170 SAT (24 ACT)}
iii. $3,500 annually {Top 15% AND at least 1190 SAT (24 ACT)}
iv. $4,000 annually {Top 10% AND at least 1270 SAT (27 ACT)}
v. $5,000 annually {Top 5% AND at least 1270 SAT (27 ACT)}
Non-resident and international students awarded the Distinguished Presidential Scholarship for a minimum of $1,000.00 for the academic year will be granted a waiver for non-resident tuition if scholarship eligibility is maintained.
Scholarship Application Guide:
Fall freshman admitted by January 15 who meet the eligibility criteria will be given automatic consideration for this scholarship.
