Scholarship Summary:
The Honors Program features stimulating interdisciplinary seminar courses for its incoming cohort (domestic and international) and requires at least two honors inquiries chosen from study abroad, independent research, civic engagement or internships. Honors students are also afforded more academic freedom, with seminar coursework satisfying the liberal learning core requirements.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be competitive for this scholarship, applicants usually;
i. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.75
ii. Obtain a minimum 1310 SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math) or 28 ACT composite score.
iii. Freshmen students who apply as test-optional are also considered with added emphasis on high school curriculum rigor, as well as all other credentials and application materials (including interview)
Value of Scholarship:
The Honors Program Award is a renewable $5,000 - $10,000 residential scholarship, plus a study abroad scholarship.

i. Complete an application for admission into CNU.
- Select “Yes” for honors interest in the Academics section of the Common Application, submit the supplemental essay when prompted and schedule the required interview.
ii. All students will be notified by April 1 of the outcome.
