The CNU Canon Virginia, Inc. Leadership Scholarships are awarded to outstanding freshmen students (domestic and international) with an interest in engineering or computer science information science.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
i. Be offered admission to the President's Leadership Program with an intended major in computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering
ii. Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.6
iii. Obtain a minimum 1310 SAT (Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math) or 28 ACT.
iv. Freshmen students who apply as test-optional are also considered with with added emphasis on high school curriculum rigor, as well as all other credentials and application materials (including interview).
Value of Scholarship:
The Canon Virginia, Inc. Leadership Scholarship is a renewable $5,000 scholarship. In addition to the award, students will be eligible for a paid summer internship with Canon Virginia, Inc. after their junior year.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; qualified candidates offered admission to the President's Leadership Program and listing computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering as their intended field of study will be considered.
