2024 Application Guide for Emory and Henry College Freshman Merit Scholarship

Applications for this scholarship will end on the 1st of April, 2024.

Scholarship Summary: 
All first-year and transfer students (domestic and international) have an opportunity to earn an academic merit scholarship which is based on your application for admission and takes into account your GPA (grade point average) and performance in the application process.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for a merit scholarship at Emory & Henry scholarship, applicants must;
i. Obtain a minimum high school GPA of 2.0

Value of Scholarship: 
The Emory & Henry Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
Founders Scholarship – Resident: $23,000 per year; Commuter: $15,000 (3.5+ GPA)
Trustee’s Scholarship – Resident: $21,000 per year; Commuter: $13,000 (3.0 – 3.4 GPA)
Presidential Scholarship – Resident: $18,000 per year; Commuter: $11,000 (2.5 – 2.9 GPA)
Blue & Gold Award - Resident: $16,000 per year; Commuter: $10,000 (2.0 – 2.4 GPA)

Scholarship Application Guide: 
To be eligible for scholarships complete the following as soon as possible prior to the enrollment semester.
1. Complete an E&H application and send your high school transcript to Emory & Henry College.
2. Complete the FAFSA, and use E&H FAFSA code #003709 (domestic students only)
