Scholarship Summary:
Entering freshmen students (domestic and international) into Ferrum College seeking their first bachelor’s degree are eligible for Ferrum College Scholarships or Merit Grants.
To be eligible for Ferrum freshmen scholarships, applicants must;
i. Demonstrate academic excellence
Value of Scholarship:
The Ferrum Freshman Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. Ferrum Merit Scholarship
ii. Presidential Honors Scholar/Boone Honors Scholar Award
iii. International Scholarship: Scholarships based on academic credentials for incoming international students.
iv. Out-Of-State Grant: up to $4,500 per academic year for students who are attending from out of state
The scholarships above can be renewed for an additional 7 semesters provided the student the student remains full-time and degree seeking.
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; merit based awards are received upon entrance to Ferrum College.
