Scholarship Summary:
Ferrum College awards prestigious scholarship packages to incoming undergraduate students (US Citizens and permanent residents) of superior academic and leadership ability.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for Ferrum freshmen scholarships, applicants must;
i. Have a GPA of 3.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
ii. Obtain a minimum combined SAT score of at least 1080 on the two-part test or 21 on ACT test
iii. Have been accepted into Ferrum college
Value of Scholarship:
The Ferrum Competitive Freshman Scholarships are namely as follows;
i. Beckham Presidential Scholarship: covers full tuition and an average cost of room/board
ii. Hart Presidential Scholarship: covers full tuition
The above scholarships may be renewed for an additional 7 semesters provided the student the student remains full-time, degree seeking and maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.

To apply;
i. Eligible students will be invited to compete in the scholarship competition at Ferrum.
ii. Selection of this scholarship is very competitive and based on the scholarship application, academic records and performance during the competition.
