Scholarship Summary: 
HCU offers a wide range of scholarships to help meet the educational needs of its incoming freshmen students (domestic and international). During the review of your admission application to the University, your application is automatically selected to see if you meet the requirements for one or more of our undergraduate merit scholarships or graduate scholarships.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for scholarship consideration, applicants must;
i. meet all university requirements for regular admission to the fall or spring semester.

Value of Scholarship: 
The HCU Freshman Merit Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Founder’s Scholarship: $24,000 per academic year {Top 5-15% HS rank and 1220-1380 SAT/25-30 ACT/80-93 CLT}
ii. President’s Scholarship: $22,000 per academic year {Top 15-25% HS rank and 1180-1340 SAT/26-31 ACT/77-88 CLT}
iii. Legacy Scholarship: $20,000 per academic year {Top 25-35% HS rank and 1110-1260 SAT/23-28 ACT/73-84 CLT}
iv. University Grant I: $12,000 per academic year {All unconditionally accepted freshmen who do not qualify for a scholarship listed above are eligible}
v. University Grant II: $11,000 per academic year {All unconditionally accepted freshmen who do not qualify for a scholarship listed above are eligible}

Scholarships are renewable for up to four years, as long as students remain meet the renewal criteria.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
There is no separate scholarship application as your admission application will be assessed for your eligibility for a scholarship.
