Scholarship Summary: 
Norwich University Academic awards have ranged values depending on the awarding policy a student (domestic and international) is eligible for and are initially determined based on the recipient’s previous academic performance. Academic awards are identified at the time of admission and are based on the comprehensive costs of living on campus for the year identified.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for freshmen scholarships, applicants must:
Be admitted for undergraduate study at Norwich

Value of Scholarship: 
The Norwich Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Award: Up to $30,000 per year for four years (3.60 GPA or greater*)
ii. Provost Award: Up to $28,000 per year for four years (3.40-3.599* GPA)
iii. Trustee Award: Up to $27,000 per year for four years (3.0-3.399* GPA)
iv. Dean’s Award: Up to $25,000 per year for four years (2.550-2.999* GPA)
v. Academic Recognition Award: Up to $23,000 per year for four years; awarded for academic potential by recommendation of the Admissions Office.

* New-student academic awards are based on a recalculated weighted high school GPA; this calculation factors in both core and non-core academic courses.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
Eligibility for these awards is based on cumulative grade-point average as calculated during the admissions process and so, no separate scholarship application is required.
