Scholarship Summary: 
When you apply for admission into University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, you are automatically considered for an academic scholarship. The scholarship is determined by the combination of your high school gpa and supplemental information such as standardized exam score and class rank (if provided). These scholarships are open to both domestic and international students.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To qualify for an academic scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
i. Be an incoming freshman
ii. Must be admitted for full-time undergraduate study

Value of Scholarship: 
The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown Academic Scholarships are valued as follows;
Freshman Pennsylvania residents are eligible to receive $2,000 - $5,000 per year ($8,000 - $10,000 over four years).  
Freshman Non-Pennsylvania residents and international students are eligible to receive $2,000 - $8,000 per year ($10,000 - $32,000 over four years).

Academic scholarships are renewable up to four years or completion of first undergraduate degree from Pitt-Johnstown, provided the following conditions are met:
  1. Maintain full-time (12 or more credits) status in the fall and spring semesters.
  2. Meet satisfactory academic progress guidelines at Pitt-Johnstown.
  3. Maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
