Scholarship Summary:
As part of its comprehensive financial aid packaging, Roger Williams University offers institutionally supported merit scholarships. All students (domestic and international) are considered for merit-based scholarships, with no separate application required.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for merit scholarships at Roger Williams, you must;
i. Be admitted for an undergraduate program at Roger Williams
Value of Scholarship:
The Roger Williams Freshmen merit scholarships vary in amount and could reach up to the full tuition cost annually.
- Merit Scholarships will renew all four years for students as long as the students remain in good standing at the university - no higher GPA requirement exists to keep their award.
Other Scholarships Awarded at the point of admission include;
i. Academic Excellence Award: provides an additional $1,000 towards the following year’s tuition and can be earned at the conclusion of each academic year in which a 3.6 GPA is earned
ii. RWU Travel Grant: a $1500 grant offered to out-of-state domestic and international students in addition to merit scholarships awarded at time of admission
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate application to be considered for a merit-based scholarship; all admitted students will automatically receive a merit scholarship.
