Scholarship Summary: 
All new domestic and international freshmen admitted through regular admission will qualify for merit scholarships. Students will be evaluated for merit scholarships based on high school GPA, class rank (if available), and the academic experience pursued in high school. St. Edward’s University uses a holistic review process and although GPA and academic information are the most important components, you will also be considered based on your demonstrated ability to be successful at St. Edward's.

Scholarship Applicant Criteria: 
To be eligible for a merit scholarship at St. Edwards, you must;
i. Be a first-time domestic freshman
ii. Demonstrate academic excellence

Value of Scholarship: 
The St. Edwards Freshman Merit Scholarships range from $12,000 - $30,000 annually. 

Additional Scholarships 
i. Edwardian Scholarship: U.S. citizens residing outside of Texas also qualify for the Edwardian Scholarship, an additional award of $3,000.

ii. Catholic High School Scholarship: Students who graduate from a Catholic high school can qualify for the Catholic High School Scholarship, which provides an additional annual award of $5,000.

Scholarship Application Guide: 
These scholarships do not require an additional application beyond the application for admission. Students who submit an by the above deadline, will be considered for academic scholarships.
