Scholarship Summary:
University of St. Thomas is awarding renewable, merit-based scholarships to incoming undergraduate students (domestic and international) based on high school GPA and SAT/ACT scores (combined math and critical reading).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
You’re automatically eligible for scholarship consideration if you:
• Have completed the application for admission
• Are accepted to the University
• Are pursuing your first undergraduate bachelor degree (either from the US or abroad)
Value of Scholarship:
The University of St. Thomas Freshman Merit Scholarship are valued as follows;
i. Aquinas Award: $10,000/year (GPA: 2.5 – 2.99)
ii. Celt Award: $13,000/year (GPA: 3.0 – 3.39)
iii. UST Achievement Scholarship: $16,000/year (GPA: 3.40 – 3.79)
iv. Basilian Distinguished Scholarship: $18,000/year (GPA: 3.80 – 3.79)
v. Presidential Excellence Scholarship: $20,000/year (GPA: 4.0+)
Scholarship Application Guide:
There is no separate scholarship application; your admission application automatically qualifies you for a scholarship. If awarded a University Scholarship, you’ll be notified in writing. Your scholarship will also appear on your award letter from the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
