Scholarship Summary:
Texas Wesleyan University awards institutional scholarships to incoming freshmen (domestic and international) based on academic merit, which means they are based on your GPA. The merit scholarships are determined at the time of acceptance and are renewable each year for up to 4 years, dependent on your GPA at TWU.

To be eligible for merit scholarships at TWU;

Value of Scholarship:
Texas Wesleyan University Freshmen Merit Scholarships are namely as follows;
• President’s Scholarship: $21,000 - $23,000/year (HS GPA: ≥3.9)
• Trustee’s Scholarship: $21,000 - $22,000/year (HS GPA: 3.50-3.89)
• Founder’s Scholarship: $19,000 - $21,000/year (HS GPA: 3.20-3.49)
• Dean's Scholarship: $19,000 - $20,000/year (HS GPA: 3.00-3.19)
• University Scholarship: $17,000 - $19,000/year (HS GPA: Under 3.00)
