Scholarship Summary:
First-time freshman students (domestic and international) entering into UIW, are automatically considered for academic scholarships as part of their application. These scholarships are awarded based on high school GPA.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for scholarship consideration at UIW, applicants must;
i. Be first-time freshmen
ii. Demonstrate excellent academic potential through high school records
Value of Scholarship:
The UIW Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Scholarship: $20,000/year
ii. Provost Scholarship: $15,000/year
iii. Dean's Scholarship: $12,000/year
iv. Distinguished Scholarship: $10,000/year
v. UIW Achievement Award: $7,000/year
All above academic scholarships are renewable for up to four years, provided students maintain satisfactory academic progress and full-time status.
