Scholarship Summary:
The Chancellor’s Scholarship at UR will be awarded annually to 14 Canadian undergraduate students who meet a variety of criteria, including a minimum admission average of 95%. This scholarship is being offered to students directly from high school, or high school graduates who have not completed any post-secondary course (other than those completed while the student was still in high school, such as the High School Accelerated Program).
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
Eligibility for this award is as follows;
• Minimum admission average of 95% to an undergraduate degree program
• Entering directly from high school, or as a high school graduate who has not completed any post-secondary courses (other than those completed while the student was still in high school, such as in the High School Accelerated program)
• Maximum of 14 awards for domestic students (Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person)
• Students must register and remain registered in a minimum of 9 credit hours per term up to and including the last day of classes to retain this scholarship
Value of Scholarship:
The recipients of the Chancellor's Scholarship will receive CAD$10,000 a year over four years, plus on-campus housing for the first year. The value of each scholarship is just over CAD$46,000.
- One award is reserved for Indigenous applicants and one award is reserved for out-of-province applicants.
To renew this scholarship for up to 3 additional years
- Students must register and remain registered in a minimum of 9 credit hours per term up to and including the last day of classes
- Recipients must maintain a minimum sessional GPA (prior spring/summer, fall, and winter terms) of 80% on a minimum of 18 credit hours

ii. Application required and must include the following items submitted through Student Awards Management System (SAMS) (log in required): an activity summary and the Chancellor’s Scholarship Supplementary Information Form.
iii. You must also have a teacher, principal, guidance counsellor, or another school official submit the Chancellor's Scholarship Reference Form to safa@uregina.ca.
