Scholarship Summary:
University of Texas at Arlington offers a host of merit scholarships to incoming freshmen (domestic and international) who have performed excellently in their academic records.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
There are no set criteria for scholarship consideration but past recipients had the following minimum qualifications;
• Top 25% high school rank
• 3.7 High School GPA (on an unweighted 4.0 scale calculated by UTA’s Admissions Office)
• A minimum 1280 SAT or 27 ACT
Value of Scholarship:
The UTA Freshman Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. Presidential Honors Scholarship: $13,000 annually
ii. Presidential Scholarship: $10,000 annually
iii. Maverick Academic Scholarships: $1,000 - $8,000 annually
Scholarship Application Guide:
All admitted freshman students are automatically considered for these scholarships. There is no additional application needed.
