Scholarship Summary:
UTPB is offering academic scholarships to full-time, first-time undergraduate degree seeking students (domestic and international) taking face-to-face courses towards a degree. Please note that due to limited resources, applicants are advised to apply as soon as possible.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must;
• Be incoming freshmen
• Have a minimum 3.25 High School Grade Point Average (on an unweighted 4.0 scale)
Value of Scholarship:
The UTPB Freshmen Academic Scholarship are valued as follows;
i. Falcon Recognition Scholarship - $1,000 per year (3.25-3.34 HS GPA)
ii. Falcon Achievement Scholarship - $2,000 per year (3.35-3.69 HS GPA)
iii. Falcon Excellence Scholarship - $3,000 per year (3.70-3.89 HS GPA)
iv. Falcon Elite Scholarship - $4,000 per year (3.90+ HS GPA)
Scholarship Application Guide:
Each UTPB student applicant is automatically considered for all scholarships; no application is required.
To secure a merit scholarship, students must register for New Student Orientation by June 1st. Registration will open early spring 2025.
