Scholarship Summary:
NTU is delighted to be able to offer The Stoneygate Award Programme, sponsored by the Stoneygate Trust. The programme will support up to three UK talented students with exceptional academic potential who need help with meeting the costs of studying at university. These prestigious awards are open to applications from students starting a full-time undergraduate degree in September 2024.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply applicants must:
• have been offered a place on an eligible BSc, BEng or BA undergraduate course for September 2024;
• have ABB at A-level (or equivalent level 3 qualifications) achieved or predicted*;
• be from a socially or economically disadvantaged background or an area of low participation in HE, as defined by Office for Students POLAR data;
• have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years;
• have a home address (as supplied in your course application) in one of the following postcode areas: Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, or Rutland
• be classed as a Home student for tuition fee purposes; and
• have United Kingdom as country of nationality recorded on the course application.
Preference may be given to applicants with a household income of less than £25,000 per annum**, who are the first in their family to attend university, those in care, or who have previously been eligible for free school meals.
Value of Scholarship:
Each award is worth £3,250 for each year of the student’s three-year taught undergraduate degree (excluding any placement year), paid in termly instalments.

i. Complete the application form for the Stoneygate Award.
ii. Please note, if your application is successful, your attendance and academic performance will be monitored. In order to remain eligible for the Stoneygate Award Programme you will be expected to achieve 95% attendance and a 2:1 average each academic year. You must consider this requirement carefully when accepting your award.
