Scholarship Summary:
UWE Bristol in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign is offering three scholarships to students from Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan and Turkey applying for science and technology (Malaysia/Thailand/Pakistan) and core (Turkey) postgraduate courses.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible for consideration, the applicant must:
• be a citizen of Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan or Turkey
• possess an unconditional offer for the eligible courses (find list of courses in the scholarship link below)
• hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.0, equivalent to a first-class classification or its international equivalent.
Value of Scholarship:
The scholarship programme offers financial support of a minimum of £10,000 to students pursuing one-year postgraduate study in the UK.
Scholarship Application Guide:

i. Submit the application form no later than 23:59 GMT on Sunday 4 May 2025.
You will need to compose a personal statement
- Demonstrates your eligibility for this scholarship.
- Maximum word limit of 400 words.
ii. Selected candidates will be shortlisted for an interview on 12 May, 2025
- CGPA and quality of personal statement will be the criteria to shortlist applicants for interview
iii. Interviews start on 19 May, 2025
iv. Awards will be announced on 23 May, 2025
