Scholarship Summary:
The Brighton Vice-Chancellor International scholarships are automatically granted to international students from specific regions.
These scholarships are open to students studying within any of the academic schools, excluding Brighton and Sussex Medical School.
Scholarship Applicant Criteria:
To be eligible to apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship,
i. You must be a new, international fee-status student domiciled in one of the eligible countries/regions
ii. You must be holding an offer for a full-time degree course of your choice with a minimum course duration of one year
iii. You must be starting your course in September 2025.
iv. If you are in receipt of a conditional offer, you must meet the conditions of your offer
v. You must have paid your tuition fee deposit
vi. You must have applied for your CAS by the deadline
Eligible countries/regions:
- South and South-East Asia: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam.
- Africa: all countries.
- MENA and Turkey: Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.
- LATAM: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela.
- EU: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.
Value of Scholarship:
The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships are valued as follows;
i. For Undergraduates: £2,500 reduction on tuition fees for the first year of study, a £1,500 reduction on your second-year tuition fees, and a further £1,500 reduction on your third-year tuition fees.
ii. For Postgraduates: £2,500 reduction on tuition fees for the first year of study only
