The Global Excellence Scholarship prioritises innovators and disruptive thinkers (UK and International) who want to create genuine and lasting change. Whether you want to start a business, become an activist, take on a campaign or develop your own social enterprise, this scholarship is for you.
To be eligible for consideration, applicant must;
i. Have applied for and be in receipt of an offer from your preferred master's programme at Loughborough University London - not open to the Loughborough campus programmes
ii. Demonstrate disruptive thinking and a commitment to change in one of the three strategic themes 'Climate Change, Vibrant and Inclusive Communities or Sport, Health and Wellbeing'
i. Have applied for and be in receipt of an offer from your preferred master's programme at Loughborough University London - not open to the Loughborough campus programmes
ii. Demonstrate disruptive thinking and a commitment to change in one of the three strategic themes 'Climate Change, Vibrant and Inclusive Communities or Sport, Health and Wellbeing'
Value of Scholarship:
The Loughborough Global Excellence Scholarship covers 90% of tuition fees which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account

To apply
i. Complete the scholarship application form outlining how they meet the criteria. No further documentation is required or will be reviewed.
ii. All applications will be read by the team at Loughborough University London. The award is highly competitive and will be given at the discretion of the Dean with the support of the Senior Leadership Team. The Dean's decision is final.
iii. 5 August 2025 - shortlisted candidates contacted and required to attend a video interview
iv. 6 August 2025 - video interviews
v. 8 August 2025 - successful candidate notified
