2025 Kent State University Nonresident President's Achievement Award (US Based)

Incoming Ohio non-resident domestic freshmen will be considered for the President’s Achievement Award if they apply to Kent State University by February 1. You are not required to provide ACT or SAT test scores to be considered for admission, merit scholarships, or the Honors College program as Kent State is test-optional.

The Alumni Laureate Scholarship is a prestigious award offered to top-performing domestic freshmen students by the Honors College and the Office of Admissions of BGSU. The program allows students to take part in leadership workshops, community engagement activities, and meetings with university, community and alumni leaders and volunteers. The ALS program also includes cohort meetings and regular interaction with the Honors College staff and program adviser.
