Scholarship Summary: 
All new students (domestic and international) are considered for academic scholarships as part of the admission application review process. Merit scholarships are awarded by the Scholarship Review Committee and are based on the review of each student’s high school transcript and class rank. Course selection and overall grade point average are weighed heavily in the review process.

'25 University of Mississippi International Academic Excellence Scholarship (US Based)

International students who are recruited by and apply directly to the university as degree-seeking undergraduate students, and who will hold a temporary visa/status in the USA will be considered for International Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES-INTL).

Each year Lees-McRae College recognizes the scholarly preparation of entering freshmen students (domestic and international) by awarding scholarships and grants based on academic performance. These awards reflect our commitment to helping students set ambitious goals and achieve them. All students are automatically considered for academic scholarships once they are granted admission to the College. Scholarship awards are based only on official transcripts and test scores. No additional scholarship application is required.

The Trustees' scholarship will be applied to a maximum of eight regular semesters, provided the student maintains a 3.4 college cumulative GPA which is reviewed at the end of each semester. Awarding is subject to the availability of funds and preference will be given to those that submit their required forms early.
